AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – People who use Augusta’s community centers say they are waiting on repairs and upgrades to the places they use every week.
Last week, we introduced you to people at Bernie Ward Community Center, where those longtime users pointed to aging floors, equipment, bathrooms and other parts of the building they say need attention.
At Henry Brigham Community Center, the wait has meant losing access to the swim center altogether, which has been closed since Oct. 31, 2025, because of mechanical problems…
