MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) — Mount Pleasant police are investigating a vandalism incident that caused thousands of dollars in damage at Moultrie Middle School Sunday Night.
According to a police report, Charleston County School District security officials discovered the damage during a routine walkthrough this morning. A security representative reported finding a bush torn from the ground, broken windows and an irrigation control box ripped from the side of the building.
Most of the damage was located along the Coleman Boulevard side of the school, investigators said. Police found three metal handicapped parking signs that had been removed and thrown near the damaged area.
