The summer heat is still holding on strong in western Kentucky and those high temperatures are bringing abnormally dry conditions back to the region.
Monday morning may have felt a little cooler as if fall was sliding into the region, but Forecaster Sean Poulos with the National Weather Service in Paducah says the week is only going to get hotter.
Poulos says the heat will crank back up on Tuesday with highs expected to be in the 90-degree range into the weekend. He also expects heat index values to reach over 100 degrees. Hopkinsville’s heat index peak is expected to be on Wednesday at 105 degrees…
