OHIO — A new proclamation in Ohio aims to honor Dolly Parton across the Buckeye State.
Gov. Mike DeWine, R-Ohio, and Lt. Gov. Jim Tressel signed a proclamation Monday naming Sept. 25, 2026, Dolly Parton Day to celebrate her life, legacy and generosity.
“Dolly Parton rose from humble beginnings to become one of the most beloved entertainers in the world and dedicated herself to literacy and children through her philanthropic work with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library,” a news release said…
