PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — After a hot weekend, the early part of the work week will offer some tidbits of relief.
The average high for this time of year is 81 degrees. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are expected today with highs in the upper-80s in the Triad, but lower-90s across the southern Piedmont.
A cold front will drop to our south today, but there isn’t enough moisture in the atmosphere to produce any showers. Behind the front, temperatures dive into the lower-60s by tomorrow morning, and return to more seasonable levels, in the lower-80s on Tuesday.
