ReWa completes first phase of $92M Swamp Rabbit sewer upgrade project

Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) has completed the first phase of its $92 million Swamp Rabbit gravity sewer upgrade project aimed at expanding wastewater capacity between Greenville and Travelers Rest.

Begun in late 2025, Phase 1A replaced 2,800 linear feet of sewer main between East Bramlett and Sulphur Springs roads. The work involved installing a single pipe, ranging from 48- and 60-inch-diameter sections, to replace two aging 20- and 36-inch parallel pipes.
