A driver wanted for an alleged parole violation was taken into custody Saturday after stopping on Interstate 80 in Vallejo, according to KRON4. Vallejo police and California Highway Patrol personnel made the arrest.
The incident involved agencies from Petaluma, Sonoma County and Vallejo. KRON4 reported that Petaluma police first attempted to stop the vehicle, while the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office later used its Henry 1 helicopter to help monitor the driver and guide CHP personnel.

KRON4 reported that the driver exceeded 100 mph on Highway 37 and allegedly passed vehicles using the center median and shoulder. The vehicle traveled through the Pinole and Hercules area before turning back toward Vallejo, according to the report.
The incident began when Petaluma officers lost sight of the vehicle near Lakeville Highway, KRON4 reported. Deputies later spotted it southbound on Arnold Drive, and the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office’s Henry 1 helicopter observed it eastbound on Highway 37 and helped CHP locate it.
