A driver caused significant property damage after allegedly fleeing the scene of a hit-and-run on Sunday morning, Sept. 13.
At 4:52 a.m., Monroe Public Safety officers responded to a hit-and-run crash that began on southbound I-75 near Mile Mark 14.
According to the Monroe Public Safety Department, the investigation determined a 24-year-old Southfield-area man sideswiped a vehicle driven by a 56-year-old Toledo-area man and then fled the scene.
