BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A judge handed down life sentences Monday for three people convicted in a murder-for-hire trial in Iberville Parish.
Herman Harris, a 65-year-old Maringouin resident, was found shot to death inside his home on Aug. 27, 2024. Rilonda Brooks, David Brooks Jr. and Johnnie Hicks were later arrested in connection with his killing.
