PORT ALLEN — A man arrested following a fatal 2022 crash that killed two West Baton Rouge Parish teenagers pleaded guilty Monday.
Tyquel Zanders entered a guilty plea to two counts of manslaughter, as well as one count each of aggravated flight from an officer, obstruction of a highway, negligent injury and reckless operation.
The La. 1 crash, which killed 17-year-old Maggie Dunn and 16-year-old Caroline Gill, happened during a police pursuit that spanned both East Baton Rouge and West Baton Rouge parishes on Dec. 31, 2022. A third person, Dunn’s brother Liam, was also injured in the crash…
