A 60-year-old Bloomington man was killed and a 35-year-old Bloomington woman was arrested on suspicion of criminal vehicular homicide following a collision on Portland Avenue.
The collision occurred approximately 1:30 p.m. Sept. 6 near Oxboro Library, as the man’s three-wheeled motorcycle and the woman’s Nissan Murano were traveling northbound. Witnesses said the woman’s vehicle was traveling approximately 100 miles per hour and struck the man’s motorcycle from behind as she was passing another vehicle, according to Bloomington Police Cmdr. Eric Kittelson.
