A Colorado judge has increased murder suspect Barry Morphew’s bond from $3 million to $10 million in cash only, following allegations from prosecutors that he repeatedly broke the rules of his pretrial release.
Morphew, 58, was taken into custody on September 3, 2026, by the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding failure-to-comply warrant issued out of Alamosa County.
“At approximately 9:11 p.m. Sept. 3, 2026, deputies located and arrested Morphew on an outstanding warrant from Alamosa County for Failure to Comply,” the Sheriff’s Office stated. “Morphew was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Boulder County Jail.”…
