THOMASVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two Charlotte-area men were injured in a head-on crash that turned fatal on Interstate 85 Sunday.
According to the N.C. Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 7 p.m. on I-85 North in Davidson County near Exit 103 involving a commercial vehicle and passenger car.
Troopers say the investigation indicates that a 2012 Honda Accord traveling southbound traveled off the road left into the median, crossed into the NB travel lanes and collided with a truck owned by food distributer Sygma head on. The Sysco subsidiary has a distribution center in Charlotte…
