Hudson County Executive Craig Guy gave an update on the status of planned HVAC renovations to the historic William Brennan Courthouse at 583 Newark Ave. in Jersey City and the subsequent construction of Courthouse Park on that property.
“Myself, [Jersey City] Mayor [James] Solomon, and [Assignment] Judge [David] Katz met yesterday, and we talked for a long time about the project and we talked about … alternative locations that were financially responsible to house the civil courts other than 595,” Guy said at Thursday’s Hudson County Board of Commissioners meeting.
The county executive added that he also spoke to Commissioner Bill O’Dea (D-2), in addition to committee meetings on the topic.
