Miami matcha and bakery favorite Honey Veil is opening two more locations, one at Aventura Mall and another in Miami Beach’s Sunset Harbour. Founders Cecilia “Ceci” Alcobe and Regina Alcobe have not announced opening dates for either outpost, but both locations surfaced on social media, where the brand built much of its following.
The sisters started at farmers’ markets in 2024, opened their first trailer in February 2025, and later added a permanent café in South Miami.
A pantry in Sunset Harbour
Honey Veil began teasing its second store in a July 23 TikTok labeled “BTS: Second Store Ep. 1.” The video shows the sisters touring the former Dr. Smood space at 1800 Bay R., Ste. 103, calling the project “a pantry concept” and asking followers to guess the neighborhood.
The comments went to work. “Wynwood?” asked one person. Another decided, “The sign outside tells me it’s downtown.” Someone who recognized the spot had a different reaction: “OMG HI NEIGHBORS YAYYYY” when recognizing the Sunset Harbor location…
