Starting this month, drivers in Hopewell should expect delays along parts of South 15th Avenue near Cavalier Square shopping center while gas-line infrastructure is being replaced.
An announcement Sept. 14 from Columbia Gas of Virginia said the upgrades were necessary to “ensure the continued delivery of safe, reliable and efficient natural gas in the area for years to come.”
Underground lines will be replaced along South 15th Avenue around Palm Street, Spruce Street and Arlington Road, all in the Cavalier Square vicinity…
