The Tri-State Fair & Rodeo is back, and bigger than ever.
The 2026 event officially opens at the fairgrounds in Amarillo with a special event on Friday, Sept. 18, followed by the downtown parade on Saturday morning and a full 10 days of annual exhibits, carnival rides, food, fun, live music and entertainment, evening “Ag-Tivities,” rodeo performances and much more.
At the Celebrate at the Arch Gate kickoff party at 11 a.m. Friday, they will swing open the gates for this year’s run. “We’re bringing the music, confetti, party hats and Hype Crew to help you celebrate the start of 10 days of Fair fun,” an event announcement says. “And because every great party needs a little something extra, the first 150 guests in our iconic arch gate will receive a Food Court Coupon presented by Cactus Cove Inn and Suites!”…
