A Plaquemine man arrested in a drug bust in August 2025 for manufacturing crack cocaine and distribution of numerous drugs pleaded guilty in 18th Judicial District Court as the jury was being selected for his trial.
Malcolm “Fish” Jackson, 54, of 57823 Luckey St., Plaquemine, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine, crack cocaine, hydrocodone, oxycodone, xanax, and a Schedule IV CDS – Alprazolam. He also pleaded to transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses.
Jackson was out of prison for less than two months when the Iberville Sheriff’s Office received information that he was dealing drugs. Surveillance was set, and once evidence was acquired, the Sheriff’s Office obtained a warrant to conduct the drug bust at his residence.
