NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is trying to make the final two arrests in a theft and fraud investigation. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
According to the NOPD, around 2:30 a.m. on June 12, 2026, the victim’s cellphone and bank cards were stolen. Police say the Zelle app was used to make multiple fraudulent cash transactions.

On Aug. 19, police posted a flyer with one of the suspects on the NOPD’s Eighth District Facebook page. The flyer included a picture of the SUV that was involved in the case as well as its license plate.
