More than 200 San Antonio-area workers will soon be without a job before the end of the year as another regional delivery company contracted with Amazon announces a mass layoff. It’s the latest in what is a high-turnover industry of Amazon delivery contracts.
4XH Logistics, which lists a home office in Boerne but appears to employ drivers in San Antonio, filed a notice with the State of Texas this week confirming it would terminate 230 jobs. According to the U.S. Department of Transportation registration system, the company was registered to conduct general freight transportation by truck on a for-hire basis. The most recent registration with the Transportation Department shows 20 drivers employed, but it’s unclear whether this includes subcontracted drivers.
“We are writing to update you with the notice you received on or about 07 Sept 2026,” 4XH Logistics owner Gabriel Hilario wrote in a letter to San Antonio Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones. “Due to ramp down provisions, we now write you that the layoff will occur between 6 Nov 2026 and 19 Nov 2026.”…
