In 1979, a humble Houston meat market dubbed Perry’s Butcher Shop opened its doors for business.
That becomes interesting to San Antonio diners 47 years later, because Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is paying homage to its roots by offering a pair of meat deals for just 79-cents — a porch chop lunch and a prime rib steak sandwich.
The chain hasn’t yet announced a date for the special, but on an upcoming Friday, all Perry’s locations in San Antonio and Austin will offer coupons for a the ultra-discounted items.
