RENO, NV (Sept 14) — There were several car meets this weekend. This reporter was able to report three of them.
• Saturday evening Ed Hughes organized a cruise in at the Sparks A&W. Originally it was for 80’s and 90’s cars but actually welcomed every year.
Along the Baring Blvd. side there was a long row of pick up as well as a few cars. They varied in years with a mix of imports and American Iron.
Not far away there was a Honda sedan parked next to a Subaru Station Wagon. Believe the Honda was in the 80’s group.
There was also this beautiful restored 1967 Toyota Corona. Another example of how people are giving new lives to older vehicles.
Past the trucks on the Baring side there were several cars. While most were sedans there was a Cobra in the row.
Over in one corner there were several imports parked together. Right now there is another one of these slated for October 10, which is a Saturday…
