RIGGINS, ID — A Spokane man was arrested Sept. 12 after an Idaho County sheriff’s deputy reported finding suspected controlled substances and determining that the vehicle he was driving had been reported stolen, according to an Idaho County Sheriff’s Office press release.
The sheriff’s office said a deputy contacted a man who was parked on Main Street in Riggins at approximately 7:30 a.m. According to the release, the deputy observed drug paraphernalia in plain view while speaking with the driver outside the vehicle. Authorities subsequently searched the vehicle and determined it had been reported stolen from Spokane, Washington.
Randy Heintz, 45, of Spokane, was arrested on allegations of felony possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine and Adderall, as well as felony grand theft by possession of stolen property.
