Tuesday Weather | Trade Winds Strengthen as More Moisture Arrives

HONOLULU (Island News) — Light to moderate trade winds will continue to strengthen across Hawaiʻi today and through Wednesday.

For today, expect mostly typical trade wind weather, with only isolated showers over the islands. Most of the showers this morning are staying offshore, with a few reaching land, mainly around Molokaʻi.

The weather pattern will become much wetter starting Wednesday night as moisture from the remnants of Tropical Storm Norbert moves through the islands. Showers will increase, and some could be heavy. There is also a chance for an isolated thunderstorm, and a Flood Watch could become necessary later in the week…
