GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – An alligator was found Tuesday at Grovetown Middle School.
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources confirmed it had been called about the incident and that the alligator was removed from the school.
Principal Blake Stitcher told parents in a note that the alligator was found behind the dumpsters. It was on a leash attached to the dumpter, and its mouth was taped shut.
