Phenix City community figure celebrates 104th birthday

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Not many can say they have lived for over a century, but that’s the case for a popular Phenix City resident. He has reached a milestone that many people can’t even imagine.

James Sneed is a World War II veteran, Alabama Senior Citizens Hall of Famer, and cancer survivor. He celebrated turning 104-years-old Tuesday.

People from all over gathered at the D.A. Turner YMCA to honor the many years Sneed has spent impacting their lives and the community.
