FEMA awards $330,000 for Hurricane Helene recovery projects in South Carolina

FEMA is providing more than $330,000 for two projects in South Carolina to help communities recover from Hurricane Helene.

The funding includes $171,000 for the city of Greenville to remove debris left behind by the hurricane.

FEMA is also providing $160,000 to the state through its Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities program. The funding will help Renewable Water Resources assess wastewater infrastructure and identify ways to protect it from future natural hazards…
