UNC Greensboro psychology elective opens student minds on body image

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Taking elective college courses is shown to help expand critical thinking skills, increase confidence and even reduce burnout.

At the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, elective courses include Greek mythology, the art of Disney and Pixar and even a psychology course focusing on body image in media.

Students are excited to sit in for an afternoon lecture in Professor Janet Boseovski’s psychology of body image class at UNCG.
