DASH bus causes damage in tight turn in downtown Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A DASH bus took a turn a little too closely at an intersection in downtown Grand Rapids, causing damage in the process.

It happened at the intersection of Monroe Avenue and Lyon Street. A News 8 crew out on assignment saw the bus wedged up against a pole and a city trash can crushed on the sidewalk. The Grand Rapids Police Department responded to the scene.

A witness told News 8 that no one was hurt and everyone made it out OK…
