Two people living in a luxury downtown Los Angeles apartment believed to be a stash house have been arrested for allegedly possessing more than 42 kilograms of fentanyl, firearms, a small alligator and more, the Department of Justice announced Tuesday.
Marvin Angelito, 27, and Susan Gonzalez, 26, were arrested Sept. 10 and charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
According to the complaint, their apartment was a known drug trafficking location. Law enforcement executed a search warrant at the property, which resulted in the seizure of 42.6 kilograms of fentanyl pills and powder, approximately one kilogram of heroin, 7.2 kilograms of cocaine, laboratory equipment and a hydraulic press.
Law enforcement also seized an AR-15 rifle with ammunition, a gold-plated Desert Eagle .50-caliber pistol, a police radio, and a small alligator, which was released into the custody of U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service agents…
