Magnolia’s at 26th in Myrtle Beach closes; new location being built near Conway

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Magnolia’s at 26th has closed almost a year after it went under new ownership.

Michelle Sturzenbecker, whose father, Bobby Anderson, founded and used to own the restaurant, told News13 the new owners closed it after they bought it last December. Sturzenbecker says her family will now be opening a new location on Highway 701 N. in Conway.

That location will be called Magnolia’s Cafe. Sturzenbecker says construction has already started, and that it’s about halfway built, with an expectation to open sometime in the fall.
