Man killed in Southcrest neighborhood identified

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A man who was shot and killed inside his home in the Southcrest neighborhood last week has been identified by police.

The shooting was reported around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9 in the 3900 block of Gamma Street.

According to San Diego police, the victim got into an argument with one or more people inside the home before he was shot. On Tuesday, police identified the victim as 28-year-old Jorge Herrera of San Diego.
