Gov. Sanders announces Arkansas will expand supportive living services for Community and Employment Support waitlist

DARDANELLE, Ark. – Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Arkansas Department of Human Services Secretary Janet Mann announced a new framework Tuesday aimed at helping families currently on the Community and Employment Support (CES) Waiver waitlist, expanding access to supportive living services for thousands of Arkansans with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Under the plan, DHS will begin providing supportive living services to families on the CES waitlist, a service previously available only to those formally enrolled in the waiver. All families on the waitlist are already enrolled in the Provider-Led Arkansas Shared Savings Entity (PASSE) program, which will begin offering supportive living as early as January 2027.
