One of the three defendants charged in the death of a sports reporter who traveled to the New Orleans area to cover the 2025 Super Bowl is expected to testify against his co-conspirators at trial this week in Jefferson Parish.
Prosecutors with the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s office gave jurors a glimpse of his testimony and other evidence they will hear this week during opening statements Tuesday morning in the manslaughter and racketeering trial of Danette Colbert, 49 and Rickey White, 35.
