Trey Anastasio Band announces Albany stop on five-show fall tour

Trey Anastasio Band will embark on a short five-show tour in November that will bring the Phish co-founder to Albany for a Thursday night concert at Palace Theatre.

The fall tour was announced Tuesday, and begins with a show in Portland, Maine, on Nov. 10 before heading to Albany for the Nov. 12 show. It will be the band’s first time back to the Palace Theatre in more than a decade following a January 2013 performance at the venue. Although it’s been a while since Trey Anastasio Band visited the Albany landmark, Anastasio brought his side project Ghosts of the Forest to the Palace Theatre in April 2019.

After the band performs in Albany, the tour will continue with stops in Jersey City, N.J., Washington, D.C., and then Port Chester, N.Y. Trey Anastasio Band will then join singer-songwriter Billy Strings for two days of concerts Nov. 20-21 in Worcester, Mass., benefiting the Divided Sky Foundation…
