VALATIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Board of Education members at the Ichabod Crane Central School district say they will now give public financial updates in their meetings, with Valatie residents wanting more answers.

Following a public forum held last week, Superintendent Marie Digirolamo said an FAQ page is being added to the district website to answer several of the questions residents had.
Despite district officials saying this is in an effort to be transparent, parents, residents and former board members don’t agree.
