CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Another top executive with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools has announced his retirement, WBTV learned on Tuesday, just days after three other executives announced their departure.
On Tuesday, Sept. 15, Chief Operations Officer Tim Ivey announced his retirement from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools after 30 years in public education. Ivey said his last day would be Dec. 31, and his retirement would go into effect on Jan. 1, 2027.
