A new plot on the edge of the Fountains of Palomar development on Harrodsburg Road and Man o’ War Boulevard is about to get a new restaurant.
The fast-food chain Wendy’s, which is aiming to add 1,000 new stores globally by 2028, is aggressively expanding its footprint. Known for its signature square hamburgers, the chain has been in the midst of a turnaround, focused on boosting the menu quality, even though higher beef prices are taking a toll.
Here in Kentucky, the company is planning to open a new location at 3890 Fountainblue Lane, next to Starbucks and near Publix, either later this year or in early 2027…
