Canvassers collecting signatures for a petition to do away with Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway are accused of misleading tactics as the Sept. 18 deadline approaches for getting the approximately 50,000 required signatures.
WSMV4 reported “hundreds” of people have accused collectors of making false statements to get them to sign the petition and are demanding that their names be removed.
