“This Program is COOKED”: Oklahoma Fans Rage at Board as Brent Venables’ Contract Extension is Approved Despite Michigan Defeat

Brent Venables has served as the coach of the Oklahoma Sooners since 2022. Last month, the University announced that it had offered him a six-year extension worth around $63 million. However, the decision was pending approval from the OU Board of Regents.

On Tuesday, it was reported that the Board had approved Venables’ extension during its meeting. This means that he will be with the program through 2032.
