A bicyclist and a child being towed in a bike trailer were injured in a crash with a pickup on Tuesday evening in suburban Batavia, authorities said.
The crash was reported at around 5 p.m. near the intersection of 1st Street and South Water Street. Police said a preliminary investigation revealed a black pickup collided with a bicycle and a trailer with a child inside, which became lodged near or beneath the front of the pickup.
