Five Denny’s in Minnesota and Wisconsin closed last week, but the restaurant chain is pushing a new narrative and a new menu to downplay the shuttered restaurants.
Franchises closed in Burnsville, Maplewood, North Branch and Roseville in Minnesota and Hudson, Wisconsin, Minnesota news site Bring Me the News reported first on Sept. 8. In a note posted on the door of one of the restaurants, the franchisee said it planned to file for bankruptcy.
