SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (WRGB)- At 25, Olivia Mannion was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Now at 30 and in remission, the Saratoga Springs cancer survivor is in Washington, D.C., urging lawmakers to make cancer research funding and access to clinical trials a national priority.
Mannion went into remission in 2022 after a year of chemotherapy and 12 rounds of treatment. She said her treatment was partly possible because of advances made through cancer research.
