CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — New York State Police arrested a Schenectady man last week in connection to a theft investigation in Saratoga County. Riley Sautter-Walker, 22, is facing numerous charges.

On August 27, troopers responded to Parkwood Plaza off of Route 9 in Clifton Park just after 6:20 a.m. following up on reports of two businesses in the shopping center being burglarized. State Police detectives determined that Sautter-Walker allegedly broke into Dolce and Biscotti Italian Bakery after failing to gain access to a neighboring business, damaging the other store’s door in the process.
Sautter-Walker is accused of smashing the bakery’s window to enter the business and steal cash, equipment, and baked goods before fleeing the scene. He was identified as a suspect as a result of the ensuing investigation, leading to an arrest warrant being issued that was executed on September 8. He now faces the following charges:
- Third-degree burglary
- Three counts of second-degree criminal mischief
- Third-degree attempted burglary
- Five counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property
- Two counts of possession of a burglar tool
- Six counts of petit larceny
- Two counts of reckless endangerment of property
After being arraigned at Clifton Park Town Court, Sautter-Walker was returned to the Saratoga County Jail, where he had previously been held on similar but unrelated charges…
