CASTLETON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. (WNYT)- A local artist says flood damage at her longtime studio may mean there is no return to normal for much of her life’s work.
Laura Lee Ross has rented an old grist mill along the Muitzes Kill in Castleton-on-Hudson since the early 2000s to use as her art studio. She said flood waters damaged the building at the end of July while 50 years of her work was inside.
Ross said only about 10% of her work is salvageable. NewsChannel 13’s Meteorologist Alexa Dringus visited the site, where Ross said she remains in shock as she returns to see the damage…
