UVA achieves new cardiac medical milestone

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – UVA Health has completed the first cardiac surgery that utilizes a new piece of technology called the Memo 4D Curve.

Dr. Michael Ibrahim and his team performed the procedure. The device assists in supporting the mitral valve in the heart more effectively than previous technologies.
