CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) — A video showing a fight between a man and security guards at Lucky’s Bar and Grill has gone viral on social media, and Cleveland police say they are investigating.
The incident happened July 26 on Memphis Avenue, but video of the altercation recently began getting attention online.
Bystander video captures altercation
A bystander captured video of the fight between a man and security personnel for Lucky’s Bar and Grill. In the video, the bystander can be heard saying, “The security are beating him up. Look at the security beating that boy up.”
Bar owner responds on Facebook
Lucky’s owner Frank White addressed the video in a Facebook post Tuesday. White said, in part, “a male with extreme body odor, no shirt, no shoes or socks, and who clearly appeared high on drugs attempted to enter Lucky’s Bar.”
