EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — As we power through our 5th heat wave of the summer, doctors are sending a warning to residents who are braving the heat.
Doctors with deaconess are sounding the alarm on heat-related illnesses as the number of cases continues to grow this year. Just within the deaconess health system doctors have recorded more than 500 heat-related illness cases across the Tri-State.
We’re told more than 80 cases have been recorded this month alone. Doctors say that’s already more than 260% more than last September…
