GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A showdown for the South Atlantic League championship was going to stay in the Piedmont Triad one way or another with the Greensboro Grasshoppers and Winston-Salem Dash going head-to-head for the title.
Ultimately, the Dash emerged as the 2026 champions after defeating the Grasshoppers 2-0 at First National Bank Field to complete a two-game sweep of the championship series on Tuesday night in Greensboro.
