High-tech food hall coming to N.J. with tacos, pizza, sushi and many other cuisines

A new technology-driven food hall featuring about 15 restaurant styles — from pizza and fried chicken to sushi and Thai — is headed to Hoboken, marking its first location in New Jersey.

Orbital Kitchens has signed a lease to open Alto at Southend Lofts, a luxury condominium development at 38 Jackson St., according to an announcement from developer The Taurasi Group.

The 3,100-square-foot food hall is expected to open in early 2027…
